WATER FOR MUHURU BAY
Hello, I am Aira Godfrey Wambura Kibebe.
Muhuru Bay is situate in Nyanza, Migori County bordering Tanzania to the South and Uganda to the West separated by the vastness of the Lake. Despite being on the shores of Lake Victoria, Muhuru Bay residents have no access to clean water. Most of the residents fetch water from the lake for domestic use and drinking.
The village also has poor sanitation due to lack of sewerage system and few toilets which further exposes the residents to diseases.
