sdg supporters, where readers & Brands Do Good

Imagine a newspaper section where a brand’s success can be measured by its good deeds, wouldn’t a brand want to do more good deeds? …And if a reader of the section can see how much good they create by reading the section, wouldn’t the reader read the section severally to create more good?

sdgSUPPORTERS is a people first section of Friday Nation and Standard offline newspapers. The section is being compiled by WPP-Scangroup Kenya. The section creates a direct economic link between consumers, brands, and social good deeds. Like a typical newspaper section, sdgSUPPORTERS informs readers and connect buyers and sellers. But what sets it apart is that each edition of the section informs about another village or school that has already received water, toilets and reusable sanitary towels. When adverts in it are scanned with phone cameras, messages play on the phone screens about schools / villages that will also receive the same –– click to see brand, Nairobi Waldorf School, which is on photo above.

By discussing about a water-starved / toilet- less / sanitary-towel-less school or village on sms or WhatsApp (+254704415723), comment on this post, email (raha@raha.solutions), …; a reader nominates the school or village for sdgSUPPORTERS Project.

By clicking on GooglePlay or AppStore, the reader installs PizzzAR for free on their phone. Now the reader is able to see on their phone screen 7 video replies to their nomination when they scan with their phone camera adverts in sdgSUPPORTERS.

By sending sms or WhatsApp (+254704415723) on the day when their 7th reply is conveyed to claim what they nominated for, the reader makes RaHa to bring to the nominee what the nominee was nominated for.

Soon after the nominee gets what they were nominated for, the reader gets a domestic rainwater harvesting tank/barrel/butt for their home
