When a toilets beneficiary identifies you as their favourite advertiser, we will inform you about it through social media. We will then build a toilet for the beneficiary.

If you are called ‘3P SANITATION’, the toilet wall may be marked like one in photo (see the black marking on the toilet wall).

NOTE: If you don’t want the toilet marked, it will remain unmarked.

We will take photos of the toilet and send you a copy of the photos.

You will display the photo at your reception or board room. The photo will tell that you are main part of the exclusive rainwater harvesting community. The collection will also tell that you are part of community that improves sanitation conditions in villages and schools.

With this photo, you will inspire your peers to promote rain protection and less people will defecate in the open.

Who can advertise Cost-free?

This cost-free opportunity is for advertisers – here, advertisers are those that draw attention to their products, services, candidacy or events in public offline news media. An advertiser is such as a:

  • Non-Government Organization (NGO)
  • Charity
  • Politician/Political party
  • Service Organization
  • Marketer

We publish news articles about the beneficiaries.

While in process of building toilet for the beneficiary that mentions you as their favourite advertiser, we will publish news articles about another village or school that will have benefited from this project.

The news articles are published in the same publication as your advertisements –– these are the same ads that you plan to publish in any 7 days after you are mentioned. The articles actually point people to your advertising. Each of the articles state that (assuming that your name is 3P SANITATION, and the beneficiary  that mentioned you is called ‘Kaka’) “Kaka mentioned 3pSANITATION to get a toilet…”

Cooperation of the news articles and your advertising produces a combined effect greater than the sum of their separate effects.

The cooperation promotes toilet use, encourages more nominations while freeing funds that we would otherwise spend on field officers. The freed money is equal to cost of major parts of the toilet, so you donate substantially –– in some countries, a tax write-off –– without spending anything extra.

Final part of promoting toilet use is optional. You may mention your support in small parts of your ads. (Assuming that your name is 3P SANITATION, you may mention that ‘3P SANITATION Promotes Toilet Use’) – again, this is a right that you may refrain from applying or enforcing.

Promoting public access to toilets is not simply about increasing provision, improving the quality and cleanliness and signage; it is also about increasing information about availability. This is important for local people and visitors alike.
