Promoting the campaign is cost free, especially if you are an advertiser –– here, an advertiser is one who draws attention to their products, services, candidacy or events in public offline news medium.
When a Safepad™ beneficiary school identifies you as their favourite advertiser, we will inform you about it through social media. We will then give Safepad™ to the beneficiary.
We will take photos of the beneficiaries and send you a copy of the photos.
You will display the photo at your reception or board room. The photo will tell that you are main part of the exclusive rainwater harvesting community. The collection will also tell that you are part of community that improves sanitation conditions in villages and schools.
With this photo, you will inspire your peers to promote this campaign and more girls will finish school.
This cost-free promotion opportunity is for advertisers – here, advertisers are those that draw attention to their products, services, candidacy or events in public offline news medium. An advertiser is such as a:
We publish news articles about the beneficiaries.
While in process of giving Safepad™ to the beneficiary that mentions you as their favourite advertiser, we will publish news articles about another village or school that will have benefited from this project.
The news articles are published in the same publication as your advertisements –– these are the same ads that you plan to publish in any 7 days after you are mentioned. The articles actually point people to your advertising. Each of the articles state that (assuming that your name is 3P SANITATION, and the beneficiary that mentioned you is called ‘Kaka’) “Kaka mentioned 3pSANITATION to get Safepad™…”
Cooperation of the news articles and your advertising produces a combined effect greater than the sum of their separate effects.
The cooperation promotes this campaign, encourages more nominations while freeing funds that we would otherwise spend on field officers. The freed money is equal to cost of major parts of the project, so you donate substantially –– in some countries, a tax write-off –– without spending anything extra.
Final part of promoting this campaign is optional. You may mention your support in small parts of your ads. (Assuming that your name is 3P SANITATION, you may mention that ‘3PSANITATION Promotes ‘Help Girls Finish School’ campaign) – again, this is a right that you may refrain from applying or enforcing.
Promoting girls’ education is not simply about increasing provision of Safepad™ and related facilities; it is also about increasing information about the provision. This is important for local people and visitors alike.
RaHa aims to improve connections between different elements of the environment: better coordination of projects, information and branding – including small details like who will get Safepad™ next – can help to shape an image that makes a lasting and positive impression on local people and visitors.
Therefore, RaHa Solutions includes wide publicity. Information on websites and in local leading newspapers will provide information on where Safepad™ has been distributed.

When you promote this campaign, you remarkably change the lives of many people for the better.
You free us from spending money on field officers and publicity. We then spend more funds on sanitation projects in communities and schools. Your advertising is as good as giving money to the sanitation project –– in some countries, a tax write-off –– but nothing extra comes out of your pocket!
Your support lets your customers, friends, constituents, donors, investors –– whoever you advertise to –– get to like, appreciate and respect you more. It’s a cost-free way for you to join in a great cause in helping girls finish school Kenyan and others around the world.
In one simple process (of promoting ‘Help Girls Finish School’ campaign), you:
“Each in-kind support saves RaHa money that would otherwise be spent on field officers and publicity. Your in-kind support frees that money to be spent directly on Safepad™ for communities and schools.”
– Titi Kadu, RaHa
Once your ads are running, your beneficiaries countdown on your ads –– these are the same ads that you plan to publish in any 7 days after they mention you. They discuss with their friends and relatives on how you are helping them in getting Safepad™. They keep the ads for future references. The ads become dear to the villagers and their friends and relatives.
RaHa supports you by sending out press releases promoting your effort. News articles about completed water systems and toilets appear in the same publication as your advertisements—and actually point people to your advertising!
Each of the articles or press releases emphasises the good work you are doing by helping this school get Safepad™.
This gives readers a high opinion of you and adds to your credibility.
RaHa closely coordinates with you to ensure that the news articles and your ads complement each other.
RaHa also promotes your good works on their website, free of charge. Every time you are mentioned, your logo or advert appears on RaHa website. You extend the reach of your advertising at no extra cost.
A representative of your business or organisation is invited to the official handover ceremony. Soon after the hand-over ceremony, news articles are published about the beneficiary. The article is headed: [Your Business name] Brought Safepad™ to [Name of your beneficiary]
RaHa continues to honour you and inspire others by posting on success stories about your business and your efforts to bring Safepad™ to this beneficiary.
